Yesterday, Robert and I met at the Long Island Sound Banquet Facility in Aurora with fifteen local board members for the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce including the Mayor of Aurora, Tom Weisner; the current President Roberto Enriquez; and past presidents Rey Cruz and Zaida Chapa among others. The meeting started off with a few words from Robert and myself after an elegant brunch and then we engaged in 90 minutes of questions and answers about Robert and the book. The support we received on a Sunday afternoon was nothing short of stunning and every one of those attendees brought their passion to the cause of guiding our youth and using this book as a conduit to do so. Thank you to all who participated. We look forward to working with you to champion this cause throughout Aurora and then eventually throughout the greater city of Chicago and then the other major markets. “Si se puede!”
