Evergreen Academy Middle School Graduation Keynote posted on June 10, 2009 by admin

Yesterday, Robert gave the keynote speech at the Evergreen Academy Middle School graduation ceremony.  Then as the students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, each and every one received a copy of From the Barrio to the Board Room, a gift from the school.  After the ceremony was let out, the students waited in line to get their books signed!

Pictures and video forthcoming!

Thanks for inspiring the young students from my community. I hope you are able to do the same for the class of 2009-2010 (my son’s class) at Evergreen Academy Middle School. I’m so excited to know he will be reading your book in class this year. I also hear the principal would love for you to be Principal for a Day at Evergreen. I hope you can make it. Our kids truly need to be encouraged and inspired by others (not just by their parents and teachers). Thank you for sharing!
